Our Draw Process FAQ
> "How do I know if I'm ready for an escrow draw?"
You are ready to take an escrow draw when every item within a phase has been completed on your work order.
> "Can I do the phases out of order?"
Yes! Your work order should be arranged so that they go in numerical sequence. However, once you have received all required permits for your property, you may request draws in any order.
> "What are lien waivers and why are they required for a draw?"
A lien waiver is a document from the general contractor stating they have received payment and waive any future lien rights to the property. This form is required for your protection in the event the contractor attempts to place a lien on your property.
> "Where do I get my lien waivers?"
Our Client Services Department will email/fax your lien waivers to you. They are pre-filled, so all you need is the general contractor's signature and a notary stamp.
> "How long will it take for the escrow funds to hit my account?"
Escrow funds are sent to your checking account via ACH (Automated Clearing House). Your funds should be available the following business morning. It is important to check your bank account to confirm the funds were posted.
